Junior Sports Day
The children from Junior Infants to Second Class made the most of the good weather on Wednesday 11th June when they enjoyed a selection of activities as part of their annual sports day. Activities included parachute games, penalties, sponge races, an obstacle course, hoop throws and milking a cow!
In the afternoon all of the classes came together for races. They had great fun taking part in sack races, wheelbarrow races and three-legged races. They finished the day off with ice-creams in the sun, which were kindly gifted from the Parents’ Association. Go raibh maith agaibh! It was without a doubt an exciting and fun-filled day!
