Urbleshanny National School

On a glorious Sunday in Monaghan, our Sixth Class pupils celebrated the Sacrament of Confirmation with their families, teachers and friends. The sun shone as St. Macartan's Cathedral welcomed everyone for this special occasion.

Fr. Joyce celebrated the mass with Fr. Early. Many people made journeys from afar to be with the Confirmation candidates, for which they were very grateful. The cathedral was alive with excitement and was bustling with family and friends wishing the best for the pupils. 

The ceremony was enhanced with music and singing from the parish choir and our harpists, Sophie and Abi.

Much hard work and preparation was afforded to the ceremony. Many thanks to Fr. Joyce, Fr. Early, Mrs. Little, Bn. Uí Dhonghaile, Nicola Cusack and members of the parish choir.

We wish Rang a Sé the very best as they venture through life following the path that God has set for them.
